Thursday, July 26, the Weekly Volcano presents its annual Best of Tacoma issue - this year painted in red, white and blue.

Here at the Weekly Volcano we spent the past 12 months stretching, drinking lots of water, and exercising our ballot fingers in anticipation of this annual contest.  

Of course, the Volcano's Best of Tacoma Readers' Poll will be non-partisan. Think you know the best restaurant, politician, hero or thrift store? Want to help spread the word about the best bike shop, hair salon or bar in Pierce County? Cast your vote here. The results of our super survey will be published in the Weekly Volcano Super Best of Tacoma issue July 26, 2011.

All ballots must be received by Thursday, July 5 at 5 p.m. Those that arrive before the deadline will be eligible to win a $200 gift certificate to The Melting Pot restaurant and a night at the Great Wolf Lodge. The winning ballot will be chosen at random.
