Tacoma's Third Thursday Artwalk is on this week on August 16. Art galleries, museums, and more are open and free from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Catwalk is one of many venues awaiting your artsy self-a unique venue that is both a fashion boutique and an art gallery. And this unique venue has a unique featured artist this month-Bo Chambers.

Chambers creates wall hangings as well as one-of-a-kind handbags and clothing. Her wall hangings are like dream catchers gone awry-webs that have caught shells, beads, bits of ribbon, and other odd items. Her handmade clothing and handbags toggle between sophisticated and quirky and lovely. She has been designing clothing and living in the Northwest since the 1980s.

Chambers's artwork will be on display at Catwalk, located at 1734 Pacific Avenue, during Artwalk hours. Catwalk is also open Tuesday through Saturday, from noon to 6 p.m., and some Sundays.
