Saturday, March 28-Sunday, March 29: Aaron Lewis

Aaron Lewis has dropped a few things in his life. The Staind frontman and lyrical mastermind dropped the "e," which was kinda radical. Whether it made sense or not, the tattooed titans of mope metal motored their angsty album 4 Shades of Grey and its hebetic headbangin' hit "Price to Play" to popularity, and that's about all the alliteration I can allow. Lewis then dropped the band to release a solid solo stab, Town Line, featuring a caboodle of country canticle that really sounds like a clash between Bon Jovi and Alice in Chains, sung in that imitation-of-Scott-Stapp-imitating-Scott-Weiland-imitating-Eddie-Vedder style that Staind succeeded. Damn, did it again, dude.
