Eeny, meeny, miny, moe.

Pinot noir or Merlot?

Cultivate your taste in vain;

It won't obscure your column strain.

Bobble Tiki wrote that poem in early 2002 after a few of his Tiki Logic music columns graced the Weekly Volcano. Chances are you'll hear a few other doozies like Bobble Tiki's poem Thursday night when The Nearsighted Narwal hosts "Bad Poetry Night." The Sixth Avenue bookstore presents the bad poetry open mic every fourth Thursday. It's a chance for poets to cleanse his or herself of literary atrocities. After he or she reads a bad poem the opportunity exists to read a piece of work he or she is proud to read. Expect laughter, red faces and hugs.
