It is always a treat to be part of a movement - to catch an artist during their incline rather than having to vomit your way through a decline (see: Ja Rule, that was a hard one to sit through). Saturday, you may see a young, up-and-coming rapper before he blows up. Atlanta-based Russ Vitale (relation to Dick, unknown) is talented as his Youtube videos show. Thurston County high school student begged Vitale to rock with them. He agreed. XP aka Xperience joins Vitale on stage. The Gary, Indiana, native, who built his reputation and name in Olympia, recently came off of tours with Macklemore and the legendary Masta Ace. Expect XP's usual uncanny combination of singing and rapping, along with a stirring rendition of Soundgarden's "Black Hole Sun."
