Kids love a lot of things that are baffling to adults. An overall infatuation with anything "gross" often tops this list. The Pierce County Parks Administration and Sprinker Recreation Center are hip to this phenomenon, no doubt creating the "Gross Out Olympics" scheduled for Friday with it in mind. According to hype, participants ages 5-17 can expect a bologna toss, a lemon slurp, an event known as the "Human Cheese Puff" ... plus much more. Fittingly, a sprinkler will be provided for kids to run through and rinse off between gross events. Swimsuits or clothes that can get dirty are recommended.
