So, you've got a small business and you'd like more customers. It only seems natural. But you can't afford a $2 million dollar Super Bowl ad featuring Brett Favre. What to do? Well, you can start by attending Go Local Tacoma's "Marketing on a shoestring budget" forum Friday from 8-10 a.m. at Tacoma City Hall, room 16. The forum is free, and non Go Local members will receive a $10 voucher to be put towards membership. Even better, the panel of experts includes Jerry McLaughlin of Jay Ray Advertising and P.R., Jim Crabbe of Konnects Inc., Charlie McManus, owner of Primo Grill and the Crown Bar, Ken freakin' Swarner, co-publisher of the Weekly Volcano (not to mention the The Ranger and N.W. Airlifter).
