Some would argue that a dive bar like the China Clipper Club and Café is no place to party. But let us tell you something, friend: There's a little thing called class. Class is something you can't buy. Class is something inherited. Class is years and years of spilled drinks, double shots and drunken hookups. The Clipper is a locals' hang out, where the drinks are cheap, stiff and tasty.  It's a place where the true barfly sits at the bar from noon until 2 a.m.

The Drink: Rocky Balboa's glass full of raw eggs won't prepare you for The Crippler, the signature drink at the China Clipper, one of the only joints in Olympia that has cocktail service to your table. This killer cocktail is actually called the Pink Lemonade and is made with muddled lemons, Chambord, Absolute Citron, sweet & sour and cranberry. It's strong stuff, served in a bucket with ice and a slice of lemon. The meanest thing about the cocktail is that it tastes so good you forget what a formidable opponent you're up against. With great conversation in this bar with a side door entrance, the China Clipper and its Crippler deliver the perfect one-two punch. Yo, Adrian!
