Grove Street Brewhouse, the first brewery in Mason County, opened for business in October 2009. Owned by local couple Jeff and Tessie Thompson, the Pontiac dealership-turned-brewery in downtown Shelton features its own on-site pub brewery, much of the original timber, frame, and woodwork, a bar serving more than seven housemade beers, local wines and ciders, housemade sodas, specialty teas, and a full kitchen serving house baked goods and homemade pub fare.
