Le Cupcake

Sweets in Graham

If you’re not big on sweets — stop reading now. There’s nothing here for you.

If you obsess about clafoutis, cakes, custards and tarts the way addicts think about their next fix, then welcome to Le Cupcake, baby.

Just over four months ago the bakery and eatery opened in Graham and is steadily building clientele due hugely to desserts, breads and all things sweet made and baked on premises — not to mention sandwiches, salads and a soup and quiche of the day.

Check out non-traditional ingredients — champagne vinaigrette, sun-dried tomato pesto, focaccia bread oven roasted beets, raspberry corned beef and toasted brioche — even local organic produce is used.

Don’t be fooled though, it’s really all about the sweets like chocolate bread pudding made from three different chocolate cakes. Served warm, it’s gooey and rich beyond belief. A topper of freshly made whipped cream makes it absolutely worth the drive.

Did I mention hand-rolled truffles?
