Matt McNew

We snapped him at a birthday party

Summer is all about traveling. Whether you’re trotting around the globe or enjoying your time in the sun back home — returning to your roots. Matt McNew was spotted lounging about in style back in his native town of Tacoma. He’s been stationed in Georgia for the last six months as a private training in the 75th Ranger Regiment.

McNew looked fresh and relieved to be out of military gear and in civilian attire, socializing with friends at a low key birthday bash. He sported a white tee he bought while shopping with his sister, done by the 7th letter and sold at 35th North in Seattle. He matched his white shirt with bright white kicks by Nike from Finish Line. His jeans slung low on his hips accent his rockin’ military bod and are LRG from Macy’s. He tops off his entire look with a shiny silver watch done by Tissot in Germany, which he received as a gift from a friend.

McNew will be home for only 16 days. He already misses jumping out of planes during Ranger training but said the best part about being home is seeing his buddy Alex Schellhammer. We can only hope his friends have the same innate sense of style as McNew as he struts his stuff proudly around Tacoma. Welcome home, McNew, it’s great to have you back where you belong!
