Style, South Hill style

Talent scout eyes scoured the hopefuls at the South Hill Mall last week to determine who would be the best and the brightest stars of the Spring Fashion Show at Macy’s Court Saturday, March 31, at 1 p.m.

Unlike the past event at the Tacoma Mall, hopeful models at South Hill paid registration fees for their chance at runway stardom. This week’s show seeks to answer the age-old question, “What’s the new ‘black’ for spring?” as well as offer some suggestions for how to work the latest trends in shops now.

Style, Syren meets Red Line Style style

When Ranee Hickham was approached by PURE Productions to put together a fashion show for Syren Lounge/Nightclub, she liked the idea, saying that the style of Syren meshes with the style of Red Line.

For this show, happening Saturday, March 31, from 7 to 9 p.m., the newest and hottest spring trends will be featured and joined by a full bar, music by DJ Feisty, and hair and makeup by Salon Benjamin. Fashions by Red Line’s current roster of designers — True Religion, BCBG, Stitch’s, Robin’s jean, Morphine Generation, Salvage, Twisted Heart, Rebel Yell, and Soul Revival — will be showcased along with new designers Ed Hardy, Peoples Liberation, Plush Denim, and William Rast.
