WINE AND CHOCOLATE

Join Metro Parks Tacoma for their annual pre-V Day Wine and Chocolate event at the W. W. Seymour Botanical Conservatory (316 S. G St., Tacoma) at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13. A $30 ticket includes an opportunity to sip on wine and champagne paired with chocolate covered strawberries and truffles while you mingle among glorious floral decorations. V-DAY PRIX FIXE

The Social Bar and Grill (1715 Dock St., Tacoma) is getting romantic on Valentines Day with a prix fixe menu highlighting some lovely dishes perfect for sharing over a four-course dining experience. Enjoy Cajun shrimp bisque or their risotto balls before digging into an espresso rub petite tenderloin or wonton ravioli stuffed with crab and smoked carrot beurre blanc.
