SANTA BREAKFAST

Metro Parks Tacoma presents Breakfast with Santa from 9-11:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 20. Enjoy hands-on crafts, breakfast and an opportunity to meet Santa at the Portland Avenue Community Center (3513 E. Portland Ave., Tacoma). Tickets are $25 for the family, or $7 per person plus $3 for photo opp with the jolly man.

WINGMAN NIGHT

Tacoma Stars have dubbed Saturday, Dec. 20, "Wingman Brewers Night" for their soccer match against the Arlington Aviators. Wingman beer is now pouring at every match in the Far Post Bar at the Tacoma Soccer Center (2610 East Bay St., Tacoma). Saturday, beginning at 7:30 p.m., added giveaways and handshakes from the Wingman crew are an added bonus.

COMMUNITY BREAKFAST

Tacoma's Dutch Embassy (1601 N. Eighth St., Tacoma) hosts a community breakfast every third Sunday of the month and encourages community members to concoct a dish for sharing and heading over to connect with like minds. This gathering is a potluck-styled dining journey and includes spiced cider, cocoa and coffee from 9 a.m. until noon Dec 21.

Proctor District's Pour at Four wine bistro (3814 N. 26th Street, Tacoma) is now open from 2-10 p.m. Vino lovers may pair their varietals with nibbles on a dime with 25 percent off all food Sundays through Jan. 4.  

VEGAN BOOK CLUB

The Vegan Book Club meets at 7 p.m. every fourth Tuesday at King's Books (218 Saint Helens Ave., Tacoma). Snapper by Brian Kimberling will be discussed Dec. 23.
