ARAB FESTIVAL
The Arab Fest Shuruq II will fill the Olympia Center with Arabian culture, uniting communities and educating for peace Oct. 4. First, there's a fundraiser for the fest. The Arab Festival Fundraising Dinner will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19 at Chambers Restaurant Panorama (1751 Circle Lane SE). A $30 ticket comes with a silent auction, no host bar and Middle Eastern cuisine such as hummus, lamb stew, Moroccan chicken, baklava and more. A TASTE OF WASHINGTON

YACHTOBERFEST
The first annual Yachtoberfest docks Oct. 4 along the Thea Foss Waterway Esplanade. More than a dozen local craft breweries will line the shoreline.
