MATADOR AND WILDFIRES

Matador Restaurant and Tequila Bar has partnered with local organization Band of Brothers Northwest to help raise funds to assist victims of the Eastern Washington wildfires. Thursday, August 7 from 11 a.m. to close, Matador restaurants - including the downtown Tacoma location - will be donating 100 percent of all profits to Band of Brothers NW, and the organization will be accepting tax-deductible donations of any kind at a booth in each location. a

SEAFOOD BAR

The outdoor seafood bar at Salty's Restaurant (28201 Redondo Beach Dr. S., Des Moines) serves Redondo Cod Fish & Chips, fish tacos, shrimp cocktail, salmon Caesar salad and more from 11:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. daily.

ART AND WINE WALK

Stadium Art and Wine Walk is taking over Tacoma's beautiful, historic Stadium District from 4-8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9. Enjoy wine samples paired with small bites while ogling art and listening to live entertainment. Tickets are $35 and include 10 wine samples to be savored throughout the district.
