Heritage Distilling Company will release its latest line of premium spirits under its BATCH NO. 12 trademark at noon Friday, July 25 in Fife.

LOCAL BOOZE RELEASE

Heritage Distilling Company has just announced the release of their Batch No. 12 line of spirits. Batch 12 will include a vodka, bourbon and rye whisky all produced and bottled at its Gig Harbor site. The salivating, booze-loving public can get their first sip at noon Friday July 25 at the Tahoma Market (6006 Pacific Hwy. E., Fife). The first to buy two bottles will receive a T-shirt. The week following expect to see them pop up at Harbor Greens, IGA stores and other outlets.

WINE TASTING

Black Door Wine Company (3906 N. 34th St., Tacoma) is hosting a wine tasting featuring beautiful 2012 vintage white wines, including Oregon's Yamhill Vineyards' Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris from the oldest winery in McMinnville, Columbia Valley's Tranche Vineyards, Pinot Gris and from Italy a Tavo Pinot Grigio. Sommelier Avery Genge will be on site for wine education and to walk you through the tasting in Black Door's garden from 5-7 p.m. Saturday, July 26. Cost is $5 per person.

VIP DINNER

Lover's of foodie-themed KIRO radio show Seattle Kitchen have an exclusive opportunity to connect with Tom Douglas, Thierry Rautureau, Katie-O and Producer Tina Nole in a private residence in Gig Harbor at 5 p.m. Saturday, July 26. Small plates will be paired with refreshments courtesy of Heritage Distillery and Mosquito Flee Winery for this intimate, foodnik-star studded, VIP experience. SALMON BAKE

Steilacoom Historical Museum Association is taking over Sunnyside Beach (2701 Chambers Creek Rd.) with their annual salmon bake from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 27. Festivities include tasty grub and live entertainment in a family friendly, summer fun atmosphere. Salmon meals go for $15 or you can skip the fish and opt for a hot dog meal for $6.
