BREWER'S NIGHT

7 Seas Brewing is taking over Paesan's Kitchen and Bars' taps beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 22. Festivities include brew tasting flights and growlers to take home. A perfect hops loving sea adventure is pairing 7 Seas brews with wood fired pizza pies. (1701 Dock St., Tacoma)

COMMUNITY MEAL

Trinity Lutheran Church hosts a community meal event on the fourth Friday of each month. Supplying free, healthy meals to members of the community - church member or not. There is no worship or preaching just an opportunity to connect with others in the community. Breaking bread brings people together. Meal is served in Thompson Hall from 5:30 to 7 p.m. (12115 Park Ave. S., Tacoma)

INDONESIAN COOKING

Celebrate A Romance With Indonesian Cooking with author Irene Liem at the Asia Pacific Cultural Center from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 24. The $50 ticket price includes cooking instruction and recipes, lunch with Liem and a copy of her cookbook.
