COLUMBIA WINE DINNER

Stanley and Seafort's (115 East 34th Street, Tacoma) presents a Columbia Wine Dinner at 6 p.m. Sunday March 30. Attendees will be wined and dined with a five-course dining experience, each course paired with a Columbia Winery varietal. Seats are $75; reservations are required at 253.473.7300.

COOKING CLASS

Primo Grill (601 Pine St., Tacoma) hosts another cooking course Saturday, April 5. Spruce up your culinary skills with Chef McManus and this courses theme "The Cuisine of Spain." The 2-4 p.m. experience includes recipe, instruction, lunch, a glass of vino, tax and gratuity. Price is $65 and reservation is required at 253.383.7000.

EDIBLE GARDEN WORKSHOP

Pierce County and Pierce Conservation Districts partner to present an Edible Garden Workshop series. This series aims to teach wannabe green thumbs how to prepare soil, plant seeds and harvest food they've grown throughout the gardening season through presentations, lectures and hands on opportunities. OYSTER FESTIVAL

Anthony's celebrates West Coast oysters during its March Oyster Festival. Special menu items starring the oyster include an oyster burger, oyster tacos, pan fried oysters and shooters. Anthony's suggests you pair the oysters with "oyster wines." Throughout the month you oyster lovers may enjoy "Oyster Happy Hour" with $6 glasses of wine and daily oyster specials.
