WINE AND CHOCOLATE

Treos in Old Town (2312 N. 30th, Tacoma) will host a Wine and Chocolate pairing featuring delectable artisan bon bons handcrafted by two sisters of Wow Chocolates at 6 p.m., Thursday, March 6. For those who wish to forgo the vino, the roasted bean also pairs well with bon bons.

BATTLE OF THE BRANDS

An epic beer throwdown will ensue at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 12 at The Swiss (1904 Jefferson Ave., Tacoma). Grab your passport and help decide who pours the best IPA when 7 Seas Brewing, Ninkasi Brewery, Silver City, Deschutes, Laurelwood and NoLi participate in The Battle of the Brands. Festivities include a raffle entitling one lucky person to walk away with a year of no cover at the Swiss.

IRISH BEER DINNER

Chambers Bay (6320 Grandview Dr., University Place) hosts an Irish beer and food tasting Friday, March 14. Beginning at 6:30 p.m., Chef Corcoran presents a seven-course meal paired with Guinness, Harp and Smithwick's. As you nibble on Irish pretzel sausage and classic corned beef cabbage, Guinness experts will take you through an Irish beer journey.
