ESPRESSO ART

The Children's Museum of Tacoma (1501 Pacific Ave., Tacoma) isn't just for the kiddos. Cafe Play includes lovely caffeinated goodness brought to you by Stumptown Coffee. From 6-7 p.m. Thursday, April 18 Café Play will showcase their baristas' talents creating art out of espresso drinks. It's an art demonstration with the mas and pas in mind.

BREWMASTERS DINNER

This makes sense. At 6 p.m. Thursday, April 18 the Harmon Brewery & Eatery (1938 Pacific Ave., Tacoma) will host a brewmaster dinner - a four-course feast paired with Harmon's seasonal brews. The highlighted flavors will compliment Harmon's Raspberry Blonde Ale, Dry Fly Whiskey Barrel Aged Scottish Ale, an Imperial Coconut Honey Porter and a Black Tartan IPA, which has been aged in a Jameson oak barrel. Intrigued? Reservations are required; call 253.383.BREW.

PACIFIC GRILL OPEN SUNDAYS

If you are anything like the Weekly Volcano, then you have stood outside Pacific Grill (1502 Pacific Ave., Tacoma) on a Sunday afternoon and pounded on the door. Good news. Pacific Grill is now open on Sundays, from 4-9 p.m. offering its happy hour menu.

MORE TACOMA BREWING CO.

Thanks to a successful Kickstarter campaign we can now have more Tacoma Brewing Company (625 St. Helens Ave., Tacoma) in our lives. Once only available during Friday tap nights, we can enjoy Morgan Alexander's compelling hops concoctions no won Thursday evenings - and beginning April 20, Saturday evenings as well.
