TOURNAMENT OF SANDWICHES

The field has been set, the competitors narrowed. Sixty-four of the South Sound's best sandwiches are battling in the Weekly Volcano's Tournament of Sandwiches. It's like March Madness, only with more gas. Every day through April 8 visit tournamentofsandwiches.com and cast your vote - using the bracket posted on the site as your guide. Then, on April 8, join us at Masa in Tacoma for the Official Tournament of Sandwiches Party - where voting on the final two sandwiches will be held and a winner will be announced during halftime of the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship game. Only one sandwich can be crowned champ, and it's up to you to decide. The Weekly Volcano's Tournament of Sandwiches. It's on!

WINE TASTING

Black Door Wine Company (3906 N. 36th St., Tacoma) will be sampling new releases from Washington winery Kana Winery at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 30. Sip your way through a vino journey, including many Rhone varietals. Bonus: Black Door Wine Company owners David Lower and Victoria Johnson are awesome.
