ST. PATRICK'S DAY PREFUNK

March 17 doesn't have to be the only day you celebrate libations brought to you by the Irish. Thursday, March 14 Boathouse 19 (9001 S. 19th St., Tacoma) will host a Jameson Irish Whiskey tasting event. From 6:30 to 9 p.m. you can sip on the brown liquor and those who wear St. Patty's day spirit will be rewarded handsomely with prizes.

O'BINGO

Speaking of the luck of the Irish, Paddy Coyne's Irish Pub (815 Pacific Ave., Tacoma) is now hosting a bingo game night every Wednesday at 7:38 p.m. It's free to participate with prizes to be scored. If you like a little B-9 with your bangers and mash, then pull up a bar stool. Expect drink specials. Expect not as many blue hairs as your typical bingo game.

QUINTESSENTIAL WINES

Charming wine shop Pour at Four (3814 N. 26th St., Tacoma) will be visited by Quintessential Wines from 5:30-8:30 p.m. March 14 with new wines as well as some wine education. This wine tasting will feature varietals from the South of the Equator. The tasting is complementary and includes the opportunity to purchase many of the wines onsite.

WHISKERS WINE AND DINE

In support of Coalition Humane's efforts to fight pet overpopulation, the Whiskers Wine & Dine event will go down Saturday, March 16 from 6-10 p.m. at the Sharon McGavick Center (4500 Steilacoom Blvd., Lakewood). Not only with the benefit include an exquisite buffet style dinner and drinks, you should also expect an amazing silent auction and help support a cause that is passionate about our furry family. All proceeds benefit the Northwest Spay and Neuter Center. Tickets cost $60 and include dinner and a drink coupon. Check out nwspayneuter.org for more details.
