Stopped in to try the new Red Tuna sushi restaurant in the Tacoma Mall.  It's mostly conveyor belt action with literally hundreds of plates doing a mechanical dance around the tables and bar. Plates ranged in price from $1.50 to $5, featuring everything from gyoza to sushi topped with sea urchin. I loved the California rolls, Chap Chai, tempura, fried chicken, and various sushi. Customers can also order specialty rolls, tempura, and noodle dishes, off the menu.

Although it is not up and running yet, Red Tuna plans to add robatayaki ( Japanese BBQ cooked in front of customers) to the menu soon.  We will keep you posted.
