PATIO OPENING PARTY

Toscano's Café and wine Bar (437 29th St. NE, Puyallup) hosts a launch party for Veev, the world's first Acai berry spirit, on its patio from 5-9:30 p.m. Thursday, June 16.

OLD SCHOOL COOKING

Re-enactors will demonstrate cooking techniques from 1855 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 18 at the Fort Nisqually Living History Museum (5400 N. Pearl, Tacoma).

FUNDRAISER

The Fish Tale Brew Pub (515 Jefferson St., Olympia) hosts a fundraiser for Pints For Prostates Foundation from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 18. They'll have a beer garden, music, bratwurst, silent auction and raffle.

The Gig Harbor Wine and Food Festival will host 30 regional wineries and breweries, as well as Brovo's Top Chef contestant Chef Kevin Gillespie of the Woodfire Grill in Atlanta, Saturday, Aug. 6 at the Harbor History Museum.
