Amocat Café is all about you, Pacific Northwestern resident. With a goal of keeping commerce local and supporting other local businesses, owner Morgan Alexander seeks out local talent in all arenas. Drinks are provided by regional craft breweries and local wineries. The coffee is roasted right here in town. Seasonal Smith Brothers eggnog, Finnriver's dry pear and black currant cider and Tieton Apple Cider recently hit the shelves.

In the eats department, Europa Bistro in the Proctor District provides Mediterranean flavor to a rotating menu at Amocat of salads and grilled Panini sandwiches. The Il Manzo, a hearty concoction of roast beef slathered in rosemary-infused Gorgonzola cream cheese, is topped off with sweet caramelized onions. Salami and mortadella with melted provolone, tomato and onion slices are set off by pesto mayonnaise in the Sicilian. The Mediterraneo, also available at Amocat, is packed full of healthy fats with humus, olives, artichoke hearts, roasted red pepper, feta cheese and olive oil. A veritable salad on bread, the Vegetariano has marinated artichoke hearts, sun-dried tomato, fragrant basil, caramelized onions, grilled eggplant and olives. Pesto pasta made with fresh basil and quality olive oil and fluffy couscous. Dishes are available at Amocat until they're gone.
