Peaks and Pints is already established as a neighborhood destination watering hole for those in and around the growing neighborhood of Proctor. One walk in the door and you'll feel the friendly vibe from owners Robby Peterson, Justin Peterson and Ron Swarner and their dedicated staff.

The back of the dining area is lined with refrigerated cases filled to the brim with bottles and cans; a dozen refrigerators to be exact. Within each is an extensive selection of craft beers, ciders and available growlers. From ales to porters, apple ciders to lemon ciders and nearly everything in between including craft wine, totaling over 600 options from all over the world, it is clear to see why our voters selected Peaks and Pints as the best bottle shop.

Equally, there is not a drop-off if you like your ice cold beverages right out of the tap. The bar boasts 28 rotating taps from both popular and newer, less familiar breweries. The staff here is trained to match each individual brew with its intended glass. You can be assured that your favorite IPA will be served in a pint glass, that if you select a Hefeweizen, it will be served in a weizen glass. For the true beer connoisseur, the vessel matters, and therefore it matters here.

Craft beer and ciders are not the only thing on tap. By managing the 28 taps, they are able to offer something for everyone. You can be assured that you can experience some of the best local wines available such as a Sauvignon Blanc or any variety of Red. Kombuchas have become more popular recently, and Peaks and Pints generally has at least one option available on tap. Lastly, my personal favorite surprise tap option is a nitro cold brew coffee from Tacoma's Bluebeard Roasters.

Don't worry, if you're hungry, there are plenty of options to pair with any beverage choice like salads or sandwiches created by the Peterson brothers. Some popular favorites are the Reuben, Italian Grinder, BBQ Turkey Blue, or the smoked salmon BLT. Whatever your favorite, you are assured that the same amount of care will be given to your meal as everything else here.

One last aspect of Peaks and Pints placing it at the top of the list is the fact that there is more than drinks and food for the neighborhood, there are also events several times a week. Whether it is a chance to try a new flight, learn about new selections or even just join in on a lodge meeting at BaseCamp Proctor to talk about beer.

The people have spoken, and cried out loudly that the best place to get your beers and ciders, either in a bottle or in its proper glass, is at Proctor's Peaks and Pints.
