New year, new look

New renovations at Lucky Eagle Casino and Hotel

By Heather Short on January 7, 2016

Lucky Eagle Casino and Hotel is excited to share their new renovations with the public. The $45 million dollar renovation project will be unveiled in phases over the next several months, starting with 40,000 square feet of additional gaming space, a portion that opened just before New Year's Eve. The new gaming space features updated, state-of-the-art monitors. Lucky Eagle Casino and Hotel has more than 1,300 slot machines as well as blackjack, craps and roulette, among many other popular games.

Another renovation will come to the restaurants at the casino. The CraftHouse Sports Bar opens this month and will feature memorabilia from Washington teams. The CraftHouse Sports bar has many features within the restaurant that were custom made and add to the unique atmosphere found there. "It is truly like none other," said John Setterstrom, CEO of Lucky Eagle Casino and Hotel. The sports bar offers over 40 different beers as well as a full menu of delicious options to choose from.

Over the next several months, additional renovations will be made to several other restaurants including their buffet. The size of the buffet will be increased by 30 percent and will feature a salmon smoking pit in its center. This means that food will be cooked fresh right in front of guests. The new steakhouse will use ingredients sourced locally, something that Setterstrom is proud to see. All restaurants in the Lucky Eagle Casino and Hotel will feature new state-of-the-art kitchens as well. Setterstrom is especially excited about the new Asian Fusion restaurant. This restaurant will combine the flavors from places like Vietnam, Japan, China and Thailand combined with an array of fresh seafood. "This restaurant will feature concepts and presentation never before seen in the Pacific Northwest," said Setterstrom. "It has only been seen in places like Vegas or Southern California."

The casino is also adding a new cabaret that will feature music and a lighted dance floor on Friday and Saturday nights. During the day, this area doubles as conference rooms with capabilities and space to host corporate meetings.

By the end of June 2016, the entire casino will have been updated with spectacular renovations, a brand new Players Club for VIP guests, and an array of eating options that will keep guests coming back for more.
