My name is Savanna. I live in Graham, WA and I am in the Air Force. My husband, who is also in the Air Force, is deployed for a 365. I just found out that I am deploying in September for 4 months. I have these two wonderful black labs that I am trying to find a temporary loving home for while my husband and I are gone. Their names are Gunner (red collar) and Guinness (black collar). They are brothers and are AKC certified pure-bred. They both turned 1 year old May 10th. They are both neutered and have chips. They are potty trained, and are very well mannered.  They are in perfect health with all their shots. The breeders we got them from had their kids hold them from the day they were born. They are GREAT with kids. They love the outside during the day, but are inside when we are home. They sleep at the foot of our bed on their floor pillows. They are great with other dogs (any shape and size!) and will just play and play until they are tired. In our house, they have certain rooms they cannot go into, and they obey those rules very well. They are very well trained and know many tricks (sit, stay, come, lay down, roll over, sit pretty, spin, say sorry, and they hold treats on their nose.) They are extremely close; they have been together since birth. I please request that they stay together.

It is funny how different their personalities are. Gunner is very sweet and passionate. He loves cuddling! Guinness is more playful. It is rare to catch him without a toy in his mouth. He always wants to play tug of war. Guinness does love to cuddle....but he can't stay still for too long unless he is worn out which is always a good thing! Guinness loves to chew on things more than Gunner, but has yet to chew on anything they are not supposed to chew on. Their toys are enough. If I am doing things around the house I have them lay on their bed and they stay there until I tell them to get up. They also love their naps and car rides! They love a routine so they always know what is going on. (Ex. When I turn the TV and lights off, its bed time.)

These boys need someone or a family who are active. They need an adequate amount of play time, love and affection. They do need proper discipline at times because they are still puppies. But they are eager to learn and please, which makes them easy to deal with. You cannot stay mad at these boys for too long!

For the foster home, I would supply enough dog food, toys, and treats to hold them over for the duration of the deployment. I would supply their kennels, sleeping pillows, and dog bowls. I will also have them on pet insurance during this period if anything were to happen.

I would like to thank anyone who considers temporarily bringing these boys into their family. They make a great addition! My husband and I are very appreciative for your kindness. Please call me at the number below if you are interested. Thanks again!
