The Pet Brigade passed this on to us...

We are PCSing in January to Fort Hood and need help with temporary foster care for our furry family member, Bentley.  He is about 3 years old, and is a really sweet boy.  He LOVES treats, knows a few basic commands and gets along very well with kids and cats, but not all dogs...especially bigger dogs.  We adopted him last summer from the Humane Society in Pierce County and he is current on all shots, is licensed with Pierce County and registered with McChord vet clinic.  He is about 47 lbs, house-trained and has no fleas/ticks etc.  It is such short notice because we originally planned to bring him with us on the drive, but logistically we are unable to do so due to travel constraints. We will be leaving on January 8 and signing in to Fort Hood on January 19.  Once we have housing secured we will need to have Bentley transported to SeaTac airport to be flown to us in Texas.  We will provide all food/treats, travel costs, crate and accessories.  Approximate foster care time will be about 21 days.  Please contact us with any questions that you may have Thank you for all your help & Happy Holidays,

Sincerely,

Michael & Veronica(and Bentley too!)
