If you're wanting to get away off base to play a round of golf, reignite the romance with your spouse, or maybe finally get to meet your favorite rock star, Little Creek Casino Resort in Shelton, a 40-minute drive from Joint Base Lewis-McChord, has what you need.

The resort offers three signature entertainment packages, including the Stay-and-Play Package, which includes a round of golf at Little Creek's 18-hole, par 72 championship Salish Hills Golf Club and one-night stay accommodations at the resort; the Romance Package, which is available Sunday to Thursday and is ideal for active-duty military and their spouses; and the Rockstar Package, which provides patrons a unique opportunity to meet-and-greet with their favorite music artist following a concert at the Skookum Creek Event Center.

"Each package is different, so look for the package that best suits your needs so you can enjoy your stay while visiting us," said Michael Bonakdar, director of marketing for Little Creek Casino Resort. "Also, it may be a good idea to get a couple of packages - so perhaps you and a friend go golfing, but your wife or girlfriend visits the spa. There are lots of great options to choose from. You cannot go wrong, no matter which package you choose. They are all an amazing value."

For the Stay-and-Play Package, a one-night stay for one golfer in September starts at $164. Included in the package is golf cart rental and a bag of range balls, $10 off any breakfast or lunch item at the Salish Grille, 25 percent off any regularly priced item at the Golf Shop, 30 percent off the "Best Rate" for a night on your next stay at the resort's hotel, and 20 percent off the "Prevailing Rate" for your next round of golf at Salish Cliffs for a group of up to four.

The Romance Package provides for one-night stay accommodations Sunday to Thursday for a couple starting at $299. It also includes a $110 spa credit good for a couples massage and other treatments, two embroidered micro-terry bathrobes, and a bottle of sparkling wine on ice upon arrival.

The Rockstar Package includes overnight accommodations with a late checkout, two premium seating tickets, two meet-and-greet passes, two spa passes, $10 value of gaming free play and food and merchandise vouchers. Rockstar packages are highly popular, typically selling out within one to three days.

"Rockstar Packages almost sell instantly as soon as we place them online due to their great value," Bonakdar said. "People cannot believe the value and how exciting it is to see their favorite entertainers."

The resort hopes to add new packages next year or update existing packages based on popularity, he added.

Tommy Glasgow, a resort spokesman, said it's important to note that active-duty and retired military receive a 25-percent discount on all standard room pricing.

"We are a very family-friendly casino with a lot of great amenities," Bonakdar said. "We offer a great value to all military personnel, active or retired."
