The leaves are already starting to turn colors, the mornings have a hint of a crispness to them, and the Pumpkin Spice Lattes are here. Those who love the fall season are rejoicing in all things orange. Even though summer has come to an end, there are still lots of family-friendly things to do in the area while enjoying the season. Some of the most popular family-friendly things to do in the fall include visiting the pumpkin patch and navigating through corn mazes. Here are some of the local hotspots for fall family fun.

Spooner Farms Harvest Festival and Corn Maze
Bring the whole family to Spooner Farms to enjoy over three miles of paths in their annual Corn Maze. The 22nd annual Harvest Festival will feature 49 varieties of pumpkins, gourds and squash. Families will love Becky's Animal Barn, caramel apples, caramel popcorn, and shopping for goodies in the gift shop. On the weekends, families will enjoy face painting and food concessions. Lattin's Country Cider Mill
Come on down and celebrate Washington's Apple Harvest with the Apple Festival at Lattin's Country Cider Mill. Guests can choose their own pumpkins and same fresh, crisp apples during their visit. Children will enjoy visiting with the farm animals as well as the animal train, face painting, and games on the weekends. Don't forget to sit back and enjoy the national award-winning cider, too! Picha's Pumpkin Patch
Families are welcome to wander through the pumpkin patch to find their perfect pumpkin to take home. There is a seven-acre corn maze to make your way through as well as trivia questions to answer along the way. Hayrides are available for an additional cost beginning Oct. 9. Hot apple cider, kettle corn and gourmet hot dogs are available for purchase. Rutledge Corn Maze and Haunted Corn Maze
Families often make it a tradition to get lost navigating through the giant corn maze. When the sun sets, the maze becomes a Haunted Corn Maze! Day time activities include corn hole, swings and story time with Spookley the Square Pumpkin. Zombie Paintball is also a favorite adventure. Schilter Family Farms Harvest Festival

Families can enjoy hay rides, the petting farm, hay jump, as well as the hay maze in the barn. Younger children will enjoy the Busy Bee Garden and play areas. Weekend activities include Duck Races, slides, cow roping and pumpkin bowling. All month unlimited passes are also available. Hunter Family Farm Pumpkin Patch
Come on down to Hunter Family Farm to choose the perfect pumpkin for your family. There are plenty of shapes and sizes to choose from. Pumpkins are priced by size. You can walk to the pumpkin patch or catch a ride on the wagon. Don't forget to check out the Holiday Shop. Plenty of Indian corn, corn stalks, and bales of hay for all your fall decor. Mosby Farms Pumpkin Patch
Come celebrate the 25th annual Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze with Mosby Farms. Family-friendly activities include carving pumpkins, tractor pulled hay rides, as well as the corn maze. Many different sizes of pumpkins, winter squash and ornamental corn. Carpinito Brothers Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze
This family-owned farm has plenty of pumpkins in all shapes and sizes, from mini pumpkins to jumbo field pumpkins. Wheelbarrows are available for you to pile in all of your goodies. This year's theme for the annual corn maze is the Headless Horseman and his Flaming Pumpkin Head. This fun, family tradition is also a favorite team-building adventure! There are six check points within each maze and finding each check point will qualify visitors for a weekly prize drawing.
