The survey of veterans conducted annually by the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) found good news on home ownership and VA care, but also saw disturbing results in suicidal thoughts, burn pit exposure and sexual trauma, especially among female military.

Striking finds included 70% of those surveyed claiming they had been exposed to toxic elements while in the service, as well as 1/3 of respondents saying they had suicidal thoughts.
