Military, veterans and their families can save up to 40 percent off of their purchases with special access to the Nike Company Store in Oregon. To access this discount, all one would need is some form of military affiliated ID to present at the door.

Typically, the Nike Company Store is only open to Nike employees and their friends and family, but they are opening their doors up to military members and their families.

All military personnel are invited to shop at the Nike Company Store now through March 3. This includes active-duty, retired, veterans, Guard and Reserve and even military spouses and military youth. The discount is typically offered twice a year and is intended to support servicemembers and their families by saving them dough.

The Nike Company Store is located in Beaverton, Oregon, and is open Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Each visiting servicemember may bring with them a spouse, permanent partner and/or dependent children ages 24 and younger. Spouse, partner, and children must be able to provide proof of the same address as the military member to accompany them into the store.

Dependent children that visit with their military member must be 22 years of age or younger with same address, 24 years of age or younger with a valid college identification card, 15 years of age or older must bring some form of ID and dependent children ages 14 and under are not required to show identification.

Along with the Nike Company Store promotion for military members, Nike has also worked to put together a new line of AR670-1 compliant boots for their Special Field Systems line.

"I've been wearing the new Nike combat Boot VO2 since the first of the year. They are still breaking in but are a definite better upgrade from the version 1 Nike Combat Boots I purchased in 2016," said SFC Joshua Bernier. "Overall, these VO2s are a good upgrade from the last version, as a 21-year infantryman in the U.S. Army still serving, I've worn combat boots around the world, both in training and in a combat theater."

Nike's Special Field Systems (SFS) focuses on products that include tactical boots, backpacks and technical socks for military service members, First/Second Responders and other. To learn more about the SFS line, visit store.nike.com/us/en_us/pw/mens-special-field-system-collection/7puZ1b1s?fbclid=IwAR2Oq1u4nwAIu7lucghy-L3DEo0JmBQr2JjY-zaS65wJuh0bUQOueRf8sPM
