Spring flowers are starting to bloom, the birds are singing, and people are emerging from their winter hibernations. It is time to start opening those windows and letting in the fresh air. Along with the spring cleaning, comes spring decorating. Houses become filled with decor featuring gorgeous pastels and flowers of every kind. No better way to overhaul your spring decor than by visiting the Mother's Day Vendor Fair being held in the Carter Lake Elementary School auditorium on McChord Field, Friday, April 28, from 4-8 p.m.

The Mother's Day Vendor Fair will feature over 35 vendors and organizations with booths full of local goodies. All the proceeds from the event go towards benefiting the Carter Lake PTO, which in turn supports the students and staff of the school. The Mother's Day Vendor Fair will also feature a bake sale with delicious, homemade treats for all to enjoy. Guests to the event may purchase raffle tickets for their chance to win an amazing prize package to the Great Wolf Lodge valued at $400. The winner of the prize package will be drawn Friday, May 19, during the Carter Lake Luau.

The Carter Lake Elementary PTO is proud to be able to hold fundraising opportunities to help raise funds to go towards the school, students and staff. Their hard work has allowed them to fund field trips, purchase books for classrooms and the library, as well as many other beloved events throughout the school year.
