In an ever-changing world and the challenges therein, the technology and equipment required must keep up.

To assist the military, law enforcement, Homeland Security and other organizations dedicated to serving the country, Darley Defense exists to serve federal, state and local protectors and first responders by providing high-quality, safe and innovative products.

Hundreds of individuals ranging from senior military leaders to key first-responder decision makers are expected to attend.

Since 1908, Darley Defense has gained experience in working with such agencies.  The company's corporate headquarters and defense and equipment divisions are located in Itasca, Illinois.

"We want to make this an annual event and to get updated information about the gear we offer to the soldiers," a spokesperson from Darley Defense wrote in an email.

"Improvements have been made to many of the products, and this show gives soldiers and first-responders a chance to meet with vendors to talk about those improvements."

On July 19 and 20 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., those individuals who serve to protect others will have an opportunity to look at, touch and hear about the latest in tactical, fire and emergency services equipment.

The location for this event is in the Washington National Guard Center (Bldg. 6224), 2nd Division Drive on Joint Base Lewis-McChord.

This is the third of four planned expositions.  The first two were held at Fort Carson, Colorado, and Virginia Beach, Virginia.

The fourth and last event will be at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

"The response we've received from the first two expos has been positive," continued the Darley spokesperson.

"Giving units the chance to meet with Darley representatives is a plus for everyone."

The expo will feature over 70 vendors displaying and discussing the latest and greatest products available, multiple networking opportunities, raffle drawings and more.

Registration at www.darleydefense.com is free and is still open.
