Ramble, Ramble, Ramble.

I forgot to refill my ADD meds. Just joking - or am I?

There are 150 different beers to try, all singles for under $3, at MSM Deli on Sixth Avenue. Get a killer sammy and drink your beer on the patio in broad daylight. Whoa. Thanks, hot-tippers Joe and Ben.

Jack White looks so creepy in the "My Doorbell" video. Greasy strands of hair and weird, leering face - ugh. Don't even get me started on his ultra perved-out pencil-line perfect mustache. It's not hot. Neither is the whole kids as screaming fans thing. Stop it. Stop it now.

Has anyone seen Budweiser E? Beer with caffeine, ginseng and guarana. Initial response: pleasant and inquisitive "oohhh?" quickly followed by pressed lips and a negative headshake. I still haven't decided if it's good or bad. Let me try it 10 more times and I'll tell you.

Mike Winfrey - an integral part of indie flick "Limbo," which is being filmed locally - gives a shout-out to Bob Denver aka Gilligan on "Gilligan's Island." Denver passed away last Friday at age 70. Pour a little on the concrete for one of our homies."

Model Squad Rose was in New York last week. Predictably, I was jealous as hell. Hopefully she'll have delightful stories of sensational shoes, beautiful boutiques and lush lounges, oh my.

Kansas is moving on, ladies. Although we had you for only a short time at the Monsoon Room you're a friend and will be missed as a bartender. Done. Now when are we going out for sushi and shots?

Thursday, Sept. 1

Pappi Swarner took me, the Birthday Girl, to The Gorge for Pearl Jam with Robcat. Matt D, Lil' Sis K. and Roomy Crystal rode separately. I was especially delighted. I hadn't seen Pearl Jam since ‘92 at Seattle's Magnusen Park with Seaweed and Cypress Hill. I can't go into details, as the word limit monster will chew off my fingers, but it freakin' ruled. The nose bleeds weren't so bad; Dave from Spokane was great to let all six of us take turns looking through his binoculars. High point: over three hours of Pearl Jam. Low points: $8 for one-inch thimbles of Jack Daniels, beer stands running out of beer after standing in line for a half hour, and teriyaki rice goo on my bare foot. Double yick.

Friday, Sept. 2

Taboo was actually kind of cool. Mass people came out for Ramey's birthday party and watched the Comedy Show before their alcohol-induced attention span shortages kicked in. The Twins, Big Man, Handsome, Red Jake, the guys from North End Mafia and Eulogy all showed. Rachel, as always, poured cripplers till it was taxi time.

Saturday, Sept. 3

Handsome and I met up with Pappi Swarner at Bumbershoot for Digable Planets.

Much dancing and dixie cups of red wine later, we were off to The Funhouse. Asian rock band Hi Vox was tearing the place apart. Club Medusa is one sweet ass, swanky dance club. Sunday and Monday were spent reflecting on what I can't remember. Good times. Happy birthday to me!

club zoe

Club Zoe opens its doors to rock, roll, and rock more. The Give blend melodic, ambient sounds. Los Burbanks, who tour incessantly, will pause long enough to burn a set. It's poppy, gravelly, dark and rough sometimes, but we like our rock, don't we? Yes, my pretty, yes we do. Never Quiet Never Still represent T-town. $5, 9 p.m., all ages, Club Zoe, 1710 S. Market St., Tacoma.

Saturday, Sept. 10
