Saluting the troops on a Harley

Northwest Harley-Davidson (8000 Freedom Lane NE, Lacey) will host its second annual Military Appreciation Event Nov. 19 from noon to 4 p.m.

"We enjoy serving (Servicemembers) from JBLM," wrote Guest Relations Manager Tina Torfin in an email.

Bringing color to the event will be the Stadium High School ROTC Color Guard, the Tumwater High School Noteables Choir and various other bands and artists.

O'Blarneys Irish Pub will provide a free chilidog lunch, and all attendees will receive a $10 NW Harley-Davidson gift certificate.
