Soldiers, family members and distinguished guests of the 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) will observe the activation of the SF Group's 4th Battalion on Friday August 26, at 10 a.m. in front of the new 4th Battalion headquarters building.
In conjunction with the 4th Battalion activation ceremony, 1st SFG (A) will dedicate the new 4th Battalion compound in honor of Sergeant Major Bradly D. Conner.
Conner was killed in action March 9, 2007 in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
