Military wives are some of the most patriotic women in America and they show the pride of their service member in a wide variety of ways. One of the current trends is sporting apparel made from the military uniforms. There is a shortage of items for military wives and that is why Air Force Wife Maria Lara, started a company called, "Wear Your Military Pride," which sells name tapes, bracelets and keychains.
"This actually got started because I wanted something that showed just how proud I was of my husband who is in the Air Force. I always went to the clothing store and wouldn't see anything that was for us wives." Lara said, "When I was actually trying to make hair bows for my daughter, I saw the ribbon and thought about making a bracelet with my husband's name tape. I tried it and it looked awesome! I showed my friends and they liked it and encouraged me to sell them. After making the bracelets, I thought to myself, ‘this would be the perfect keychain.' I tried the keychains and I love them. It's something that is unique and original. Anybody can have a keychain that says proud Air Force Wife, but why not be different and have your significant other's last name on your keys or wrist? The keychain can be placed on your luggage for an easier and faster way to spot your luggage, or even on your child's book bag."
Lara makes the products because she says, "I'm all about making people happy and trying to help them display their pride in the military. The service members have it rough already and they also get a sense of pride themselves when they see people showing their pride in them" Wear Your Military Pride can be found on facebook at www.facebook.com/pages/Wear-Your-Military-Pride/114489851968964

I found this idea refreshing and fascinating at the same time. I would like to congratulate Mrs. Maria Lara for his originality and for her support to our troops.
