Lately there's a lot of being said about "couponing," whether on television shows or Facebook posts, but what if you're unsure what it means, where to look for deals or even how to start?
Amanda Russell, a local military spouse who operates the popular blog The Coupon Project, will be hosting her first in-person class on June 15 from 6 to 8 p.m. on Joint Base Lewis-McChord.
Cost is $10 per person, plus one non-perishable food item; both the monies raised and the foods collected will be donated back to the families of JBLM and redeploying Servicemembers.
The class will cover grocery shopping strategies, organizing coupons, stacking coupons and drugstore shopping, among other topics.
To attend the Coupon Class, simply RSVP via e-mail to amanda.shallcross@yahoo.com. Be sure to include a subject line that has the class title in it. The class will meet in the Sgt. Morela Conference Room, 1-14 CAV Headquarters, building 36595 (located at the corner of 22nd & Stryker Ave).
