Saturday was a good day at McChord Field for Air Expo. The crowds were steady, as were the backups on local roads.  The show started an hour late due to weather but WOWed the crowd nonetheless.  Today should be an equally great day.

This year appears to have more static displays - they cover miles of asphalt. The food lines are long so be prepared for that.

Best advice: Take the bus from Target in Lakewood.  Bus riders arrived stress free at the show.
