There was a great turnout at the JBLM Cemetery for the observance of Memorial Day. It was a nice ceremony and a great opportunity to remember those who paid the ultimate price for our freedoms.

I also attended the 2011 ceremony at the Ft Lewis cemetery. It was vey nice and respectful. I might add that veterans attending the ceremony may actually use the hand salute when appropriate (Def. Auth Act of 2008, Sec. 594). It is a great privilege and honor. Will be there 2012.
