Returning from the all-night scout mission mid-morning, I decided it would be good to get cleaned up, get some chow and read.
I grabbed a shower, ate lunch and lasted about three paragraphs into the book I'm reading when I fell asleep.
Waking up a couple of hours later, I worked on some photographs and then remembered something about Spc. Jay Berry's cappuccino.
A native of Galveston, TX, Berry brings a welcomed smart aleck attitude to his fellow soldiers. In order to help things along, he also offers up a concoction of a drink that - if nothing else - will keep one awake.
It can do a lot worse, though.
Herewith, the Berry cappuccino.
Beginning with a half-liter water bottle, Berry pours out about a quarter of it. He then adds 2 to 3 packets of Starbuck's instant coffee, 2 to 3 packets of sugar, 1 packet of Hazelnut (he insisted that I mention this) creamer and some milk. Once done, put the top and the bottle and shake.
Try it some time; it's not half bad.
Put differently, it's only half good.
