El Gaucho has been a downtown Tacoma mainstay for ten years now! To celebrate, the restaurant is offering a special anniversary menu as well as ten Tacoma themed cocktails.

The anniversary menu includes ten starters and sides and three special desserts-all of which cost just $10 each.  Some items like the Wicked Shrimp and Tenderloin Diablo have been on El Gaucho's menu before and are just at special prices for now. Others are new, and these include Rutabaga Beluga Lentil Hash with bacon and sherry butter, and calamari with roasted poblano aioli. A creamy polenta with red pepper and Reggiano Parmesan is on the menu just for the anniversary!

The ten anniversary cocktails are also $10 each. Some are named after locations, such as the Pantages Lemonada, El Gaucho Roca, TNT-ini named after the Tacoma News Tribune, and Point Defiance Bliss. Others give tribute to famous Tacomans, like the Thea Foss' Starry Night, Bennett's Silver Lining, or the Bing Crosby.

The specials are on until September 30, so get them while you can. It's not every day that Tacoma gets cocktails designed after its hallowed places and peeps!
