Get your QiGong on tonight in Tacoma.

1. It is last of 6th Ave Farmer's Market in Tacoma. Bittersweet, with summer behind us and a bountiful harvest, today is a day to celebrate. Local farmers and crafters will have tons of produce and goods that must be bought before they are gone for the long winter. Don’t miss your chance to mark the end of a beautiful summer and the coming of the harvest with your community. There will also be a sit-down Community Dinner, a pie eating contest, live music by Double Barrs, kid’s activities and a raffle. 2. At times each of us has experienced a subtle yet notable vibrational field, within us and around us. What exactly is that? And how can we use it? By increasing our connection with this energy source, we enhance our awareness, improve our health, and strengthen our constitution. 3. Tuesday Film Series at the Grand Cinema makes me happy. They really do play excellent movies. And if I didn't have children, I'd attend every film. So those of you out there looking for action on a Tuesday, may I suggest staying away from baby-making and enjoy a good movie instead. This week's film is Grassroots. A short-tempered, unemployed music critic who likes to dress as a polar bear thinks he can harness the power of the people to ride the monorail to political victory in Seattle. And he's right. Almost. It's before Twitter, before the flash mob, before Obama. It's 2001, and political unknown Grant Cogswell decides he must take down Seattle City Councilman Richard McIver. 4. It's trivia night at Hy-lu-Hee-Hee in Gig Harbor. Have a couple drinks and try saying that five times fast. Anyway, there are three rounds worth $25 gift cards each, and a cumulative cash prize of $50 for the puzzle page. 5. Le Voyeur in Olympia, with it's delicious food and gritty little venue presents Soda Jerk, Agatha and Jester and Kelli! Agatha and Jester play a sappy, lovely sort of accordian music that mesmerizes and feels right. Tuesday night is a good night to get some Le Voyeur loving.
