1. Enjoy a glass of pre-show champagne, revel in the 40th anniversary tour of Manhattan Transfer, a revered musical, and stick around for a grand cocktail party with the performers after the show. 7:30 p.m., $38 and up, Washington Center for the Performing Arts, 512 Washington St. S.E.(360) 753-8586.

2. Shop Till You Drop is an event created to celebrate our neighborhood French Market Style! Please join on this day filled with fun, fashion, entertainment, and LOTS of shopping for everyone! The best of the best small businesses have been selected to collaborate and show off their art, fashion, collections, and delights. 1 - 6 p.m., free, Opera Alley: 709 Court C/Opera Alley, Tacom.

3. In the tradition of love and humanity, in celebration of life in all its fantastic forms, Tacoma is having its first ever Lumins Celebratory Festival of Lights. Join in the festivities, and surprise hundreds of unexpected others as they exit Broadway Center's Fall Free for All!
