Rock Tiki Say "Feed Your Soul On Sixth Ave Tonight."

By Rock Tiki on August 18, 2012

Rock Tiki was born a poor palm tree in Polynesia, cut down and carved into a Tiki sculpture to protect the limits of Rock Tiki's village, and finally, stolen by a group of tourists from a nearby cruise ship. Ever since that fateful day, Rock Tiki has partied every night.  Back on the cruise ship, Rock Tiki would work backstage just to see the shows for free, which embedded within Rock Tiki, a love for stand-up comedy. Tonight Rock Tiki will be at Grit City Comedy to watch the hilariously sarcastic Andrew Ouellette. Grit City Comedy is a stand-up comedy stage attached to Malarkey's Pool and Brew at 6th Ave. and Tacoma Ave. tickets are $15 and the show starts at 9 PM. Show up early and enjoy a burger and a beer or a game of pool in Malarkey's. For Ouellette's videos and biography, visit www.andrewouellette.com.

Take a chance at Jazzbones on 6th Ave. Featuring four local bands (Baba B, Unified Culture, Island Bound, and Soul Kulja) tickets are $12 at the door, and the show starts at 8:30 PM. Jazzbones main floor includes seating and a dance floor while the second story combines balcony seating and mingling space. Jazzbones serves traditional bar food as well as a separate sushi menu. Finally as you head down 6th Ave, stop by Six Olives Lounge. Besides the no cover live music featuring Big Huge at 8:30 PM, Six Olives has an extensive menu of signature cocktails and lounge food. From exciting drinks such as Hard Candy Vodka featuring Watermelon candy infused vodka to quantity drinks for the entire table such as Need For Speed comprised of eight 1 oz. shots of caffeine and guarana infused Kettle One Vodka with guava, enough for the whole table to enjoy.
