Electric Falcons show has us buzzing

What do you get when you cross Olympia, Los Angeles, punk rock and a tiny dog in a purse? Why, you get the Electric Falcons music video, of course. Premiering at the Brotherhood Lounge this Sunday, the Electric Falcons music video for their song, "Damage Control" will be plastered on a nine foot projection screen for all to see. The video features David Yow, (former vocalist for Scratch Acid, Jesus Lizard) plowing through the streets of LA, confronting every object and person in his way. His presence is perfect for the gritty garage music of Electric Falcons, while the direction of Olympia native Devin True is masterpiece.

"It was the biggest group of talented and amazing professional people I've ever seen...everybody was totally comfortable in their element," says Cameron Clearwater, lead guitar and vocalist for Electric Falcons. "True owned the entire operation like nobody's business and Yow is a madman," continues Clearwater, "The extras, friends, stunt folk, everyone - my dog stole the show though."

All band members make an appearance in the video, including the band's mascot and road dog, Bergie, a Chihuahua, who rides in a purse on the arm of Falcon's drummer Jordan Taylor, as he exits a car ala Brittney Spears style. Tour bassist Matt Crowell gets lit on fire, and Clearwater gets his guitar smashed by Yow.

Bonus video "Red Flag," directed by Taylor will also show.

The screening is free. Party starts at 5 p.m., videos start at 6:30. The Brotherhood's regularly scheduled movie night will begin at 7 p.m. with a showing of Sherlock Holmes. Free popcorn, too.

119 Capitol Way, Olympia, 360.352.4153.
