California Club has a packed Saturday show

Hell's Kitchen is closed - but the music-scene just keeps pushing-on. I've seen it happen so many times. To list all the cool music-venues that have been closed due to slow-business or forced to shut-down by the holice would fill-up all my word-space. Our local artists are super-resilient - the show must go on.

Are ya into Chicano-Rap, or maybe ya just like to soak-up some international, south of the border flavor, then be at the California Club on Friday. Coming to town is Lil Cuete, Jasper Locote, and Baby Wicked. Opening for them will be Tac-Town's own Lil Dreams & Neno Brownz with Weaz Huitzilopotchli. Lil Dreams and Neno Brownz run with Golden Brown Entertainment who you might have heard from if ya pay attention to local Hip-Hop. Show starts at 8pm, $25 presale, $30 at the door.

Saturday, return yo ass to California Club to see Rappin 4 Tay. Yeah, the hair-pressed and permed M.C. from Fimore in ‘Frisco is here to entertain ya'll. Ya know ya want to get real drunk and rap-along to his huge hit from '94, "Playaz Club". There are a slew of local rappers opening for him this night. It's an early-show, doors at 7pm.
